Sketchbook Challenge Blog Hop Starts Today (VIDEO)
It's a blog-hop "Houses & Hideaways" theme party and my art is featured on The Sketchbook Challenge blog today! Come on over and I'll meet you there :).
And for today's special event, I also made a short video demo for you!
Just wanted to let you know you inspired me to take out my paints and give this a go. I haven't done watercolors for 45 years or so! I had never heard about using salt that way either. I did two small washes that I am going to make into something, eventually! I hope to make a few more this weekend. I really liked your tutorial. Thank you for sharing!
I am very excited that I have found your post because I have been searching for some information about it for almost three hours. You have helped me a lot and reading this your article I have found much new and useful information about this subject.

Thanks for the video! It's always amazing how less manipulation of media makes a more attractive background.
I think I'm going to pull the clips off my drawing board. :)
clever idea to use a clipboard! Nice vid and really beautiful watercolor and blessing!

I love the quote on your houses and hideaways tree and also enjoyed your watercolour video too. Simple and so effective. Thank you.
You did good, and I learned something new x
Gina,
Thank you for posting the video, it was very helpful, especially the part about sprinkling salt to create the "starsies" effect.
I enjoyed your video Gina and your artwork. I'm a little late starting the blog hop.
Thank you so much for sharing this wc background tutorial. I love it, and I'm going to try it. Beautiful colors too. Linda E.
